In color and shape sensational amethyst with colored calcite and second generation orange quartz. This color is very rare and only known from a few pieces from Santa Catherine. This is an absolute museum and collection piece. Between the parent rock and the amethyst crystals is a thick layer of greenish blue agate. What may look like concrete on the reverse side is the original volcanic mother rock called basalt. We get our amethyst druses and crystals directly from the mines, directly from the people who dig the stones. We personally visit mines several times a year on a regular basis. In the mines where our crystals are found, we guarantee there is no child labor and we take care to protect our employees. We have documented this in a film that is regularly shown in the museum. The miners receive a fair price for their crystals.
