Rock crystal ball with green tourmaline. This rock crystal ball is very clear for its size. In some places you can see completely through from one side to the other. In several places there are enclosed crystal groups of clear green-blue tourmalines. The tourmalines are up to 5 cm long and up to 1 cm thick and partly clear. A rock crystal sphere of this size and clarity is very rare and it was cut from the top of a rough stone weighing over 1,200 kg. The sphere has about 10% of the original crystal weight. It is a unique rarity, an absolute museum piece. We get our crystals directly from the mines, directly from the people who dig the stones. We personally visit mines several times a year on a regular basis. In the mines where our crystals are found, we guarantee that there is no child labor and we take care to protect the employees. We have documented this in a film that is regularly shown in the museum. The miners receive a fair price for their crystals. We cut the spheres in our grinding shops in Germany, Brazil and Madagascar from crystals and rough stones that are already weathered on the surface by nature. We do not destroy beautiful crystals to cut spheres!!!!
