This is a beautiful rock crystal twin crystal that has black tourmaline needles enclosed at the bottom. The large crystal has many clear areas in the upper part and becomes a bit more milky at the very bottom, the tourmalines are very easy to see. It is very clear throughout and has great inclusions. The inclusions look partly like mysterious nebulae of small water or air bubbles or one feels reminded of structures from outer space, as one knows them from pictures made by the Hubble telescope. The crystal was cut at the end, where it had grown, that it stands securely by itself. We get our crystals directly from the mines, directly from the people who dig the stones. We personally visit mines several times a year on a regular basis. In the mines where our crystals are found, we guarantee that there is no child labor and we take care to protect the employees. We have documented this in a film that is regularly shown in the museum. The miners receive a fair price for their crystals.
