Description: Extraordinary amethyst druse from Uruguay. Sanded all around to form an oval decorative object. The edge consists of several layers, in this order: rock crystal, moss agate, rock crystal, goes into crystallized rose quartz, up to the amethyst inside. On the back, the volcanic rock is still partially visible, this is called basalt. The crystals inside glitter and shine brightly and have not been processed. The amethyst geode is a volcanic gas bubble that is around 100 million years old.
