This mysterious phantom crystal consists of amethyst in the top, passes into smoky quartz and ends in rock crystal. The crystal contains several phantom crystals consisting of multiple layers of smoky quartz. The layers consist of smoky "mists" and there are many small very clear rock crystals grown in the crystal as double tenders or in Herkimer "diamond" crystal form. When illuminated, the crystal has a great color and glows beautifully. The crystal contains moving water bubbles up to 2cm in several places, also called water dragonflies. It is estimated that the water in the crystal is about 200 million years old. The water bubbles can move a few centimeters in the crystal. The inclusions, some of which show a shimmer in all colors of the rainbow or shine like mysterious mists of small water or air bubbles, make the crystal really interesting. One feels reminded of structures from outer space, as one knows them from pictures made by the Hubble telescope. The crystal was cut at the end, where it was grown, that it stands securely by itself.
