Description:

This fossilized disc of wood is a coniferous tree, approximately 220 million years old, from Petrified Forest National Park in Arizona. This wooden slice has only been diamond cut, sanded and polished, not painted. It is the original stone finish which is extremely scratch resistant. All colors are natural, nothing was dyed or treated here. The bark structure is still present all around.
The colors are completely natural, due to inclusions of iron and manganese. The petrified tree contains all sorts of minerals and quartz gemstones such as agate, jasper, opal, milk opal, carnelian, calcedony, rock crystal, smoky quartz, amethyst and calcite. You can hang the petrified wooden disc wonderfully like a picture on the wall or use it as a table top. The petrified tree discs from Arizona are also suitable for outdoor tables. The photos are taken with a lot and with little light. Depending on the color, the colors come into their own.
We source our minerals, fossils and crystals straight from the mines, straight from the people digging up the rocks. We regularly visit mines in person several times a year. In the mines where our crystals are found, there is guaranteed no child labor and we pay attention to the protection of our employees. We have documented this in a film that is regularly shown in the museum. The miners get a fair price for their crystals. The petrified wood was cut and polished in Europe.
