Description: Beautiful pair of parrots made of Brazilian rock crystal, in elaborate handwork, very true to the original cut. The rock crystal has a great, clear quality with few inclusions. The base is a natural large emerald, in very beautiful, exceptionally intense color. The bird object is mounted on a clear acrylic base for better standing.
The beaks are made of carnelian, an orange agate. The birds sit on the natural stone base with silvered feet . The left parrot egg is about 43cm long measured from head to tail end, the right one has a wingspan of about 35cm and a length of about 50cm. A very high quality and exceptional object for the discerning collector and bird lover.
We purchase our minerals, gemstones and crystals directly from the mines, directly from the people who dig the stones. We personally visit mines several times a year on a regular basis. In the mines where our crystals are found, we guarantee that there is no child labor and we take care to protect our employees. We have documented this in a film that is regularly shown in the museum. The miners receive a fair price for their crystals.
