This gorgeous amethyst sphere with 425 Kg is the biggest amethyst sphere we ever had. The rough stone for this huge sphere weighed over 2,000 Kg. The sphere shows white phantom crystals and several veins of smoky quartz and reddish quartz. There is a crystal druse in the sphere about 30 cm long and about 20 cm deep. The amethyst has all purple color variations you can imagine. From darkest almost black purple to various shades of lilac, everything is there. We get our crystals directly from the mines, directly from the people who dig the stones. We regularly visit mines in person several times a year. In the mines where our crystals are found, we guarantee that there is no child labor and we take care to protect the employees. We have documented this in a film that is regularly shown in the museum. The miners receive a fair price for their crystals. We cut the spheres in our grinding shops in Germany, Brazil and Madagascar from crystals and rough stones that are already weathered on the surface by nature. We do not destroy beautiful crystals to cut spheres!!!!
