Wide open and very deep amethyst druse with super dark crystals with extraordinary angel wing or butterfly wing shape. The druse contained many formations, large protruding hedgehogs of amethyst and many partly very clear undamaged calcite crystals. This is extremely rare. The rim is made of rock crystal and chalcedony. This is one of the most perfect and beautiful amethyst pairs we have ever had. We get our amethyst druses and crystals directly from the mines in Uruguay and Brazil, directly from the people who dig the stones. We personally visit the mines several times a year on a regular basis. In the mines where our crystals are found, we guarantee that there is no child labor and we take care to protect the employees. We have documented this in a film that is regularly shown in the museum. The miners receive a fair price for their crystals.
