Very nice opalescent ammonite in slate-like rock. Its colors are completely natural and shine spectacularly. It is characterized by strong red and green tones, furthermore orange, golden, and in some places rare blue and purple colors can be seen. This ammonite has all the characteristics, why colorful Canadian ammonites are known worldwide and are so valuable. A dream piece in any home, office or the entrance area of a beautiful villa or company. The ammonite was found in a shale-like clayey parent rock and is approximately 65 million years old. A similar piece fetched €165,000 at auction at Christies in London in October 2020.
