Very nice opalescent ammonite in slate-like rock. Its colors are completely natural and shine spectacularly. It is characterized by strong blue and green tones, furthermore orange, golden, and in some places rare purple colors can be seen. This ammonite has all the characteristics, why colorful Canadian ammonites are worldwide known and so valuable. A dream piece in any home, office or the entrance hall of a beautiful villa or company. The ammonite was found in a shale-like clayey parent rock and is approximately 65 million years old. A similar piece fetched €165,000 at auction at Christies in London in October 2020.
