Description: Very nice decorative amethyst heart from Uruguay with super dark amethyst crystals up to 9cm in size. The rim is made of rock crystal and blue-green agate, the backside is made of volcanic rock called basalt. The rim has been cut and polished, the crystals inside sparkle and shine strongly and have not been worked on. The amethyst comes from a bubble of gas from a volcano that is about 100 million years old.
We get our amethyst druses and crystals directly from the mines, directly from the people who dig the stones. We personally visit mines several times a year on a regular basis. In the mines where our crystals are found, we guarantee that there is no child labor and we take care to protect our employees. We have documented this in a film that is regularly shown in the museum. The miners receive a fair price for their crystals.
