From the color and shape very beautiful dark natural amethyst druse from Uruguay. The rim is made of rock crystal and blue-green agate, the backside is made of volcanic rock called basalt. The rim has been cut and polished, the crystals inside glitter and shine strongly and have not been worked. The amethyst druse is a gas bubble from a volcano about 100 million years old. The yellow spheres are calcite crystals that originally grew like this in the druse. The amethyst crystals are partly like small hedgehogs, ridges, mountains with valleys, like whole landscapes curved outward. We get our amethyst druses and crystals directly from the mines, directly from the people who dig the stones. We personally visit mines several times a year on a regular basis. In the mines where our crystals are found, we guarantee that there is no child labor and we take care to protect our employees. We have documented this in a film that is regularly shown in the museum. The miners receive a fair price for their crystals. Shipping can take up to 8 weeks or more.
