From the color and shape very beautiful dark natural amethyst druse from Uruguay. The rim consists of 3 layers, first blue-green agate, then rock crystal and again brown-golden agate, before the large purple amethyst crystals begin. The rim has not been cut and polished. The crystals inside are up to 2 inches in size, sparkle and glow strongly, and have not been worked. The amethyst druse is an approximately 100 million year old gas bubble from a volcano. The back is made of basalt, not concrete. It is the natural parent rock. On the upper left edge, the druse has a large calcite bloom. We get our amethyst druses and crystals directly from the mines, directly from the people who dig the stones. We personally visit mines several times a year on a regular basis. In the mines where our crystals are found, we guarantee there is no child labor and we take care to protect our employees. We have documented this in a film that is regularly shown in the museum. The miners receive a fair price for their crystals.
