Description:
In color and shape very beautiful natural amethyst druse from Uruguay. The rim is made of rock crystal and a broad layer of brown-blue agate, the back is made of volcanic basalt. The rim has been cut and polished, the crystals inside are large and sparkling and have not been worked. The amethyst crystals are up to 2 cm in size and have a super dark color. The amethyst gland is an approx. 100 million year old gas bubble from a volcano. We obtain our amethyst druses and crystals directly from the mines, directly from the people who dig out the stones. We regularly visit mines in person several times a year. In the mines where our crystals are found, there is guaranteed to be no child labor and we pay attention to the protection of the employees. We have documented this in a film that is regularly shown in the museum. The miners receive a fair price for their crystals.
