Description: Beautiful parrot made of Brazilian aquamarine, elaborately hand-cut, very true to the original. The aquamarine has a great, strong, color with few, yellow quartz inclusions. The base is a natural tourmaline, in very nice quality. The bird object is mounted on a transparent, brown acrylic base for a better stand. The beak is made of carnelian, a dark red agate, and the eyes are made of a pink tourmaline also from Brazil.
The bird sits on the natural stone base with silver plated feet. The parrot is about 13 cm long measured from head to tail end. A very high quality and unusual object for the discerning collector and bird lover. We source our minerals, gemstones and crystals directly from the mines, directly from the people who dig the stones.
We personally visit mines several times a year on a regular basis. In the mines where our crystals are found, we guarantee that there is no child labor and we take care to protect our employees. We have documented this in a film that is regularly shown in the museum. The miners receive a fair price for their crystals.
