Very nice decorative amethyst heart from Brazil with super beautiful dark lilac amethyst crystals and grown calcite crystals. The rim is made of green/brown agate and translucent quartz, the back is made of volcanic rock called basalt. The rim has been cut and polished, the crystals are uniform in size, sparkle and shine strongly, and have not been worked. The amethyst comes from a gas bubble of a volcano about 100 million years old.
We get our amethyst druses and crystals directly from the mines, directly from the people who dig the stones. We visit mines several times a year and regularly in person. In the mines where our crystals are found, we guarantee there is no child labor and we take care to protect the workers. We have documented this in a film that is regularly shown in the museum. The miners receive a fair price for their crystals.
