Description: In color and shape very beautiful natural amethyst druse from Uruguay with great deep dark amethyst crystals in great brilliance. The rim is made of colorful agate (moss agate, carnelian, yellow agate) and rock crystal, which gives a great pattern, the back is made of volcanic basalt. The edge has been cut and polished, the crystals inside are large and sparkle strongly and are not machined. The amethyst crystals are up to 2cm in size and have a super dark color. The amethyst druse is an approximately 100 million year old gas bubble from a volcano.
We get our amethyst druses and crystals directly from the mines, directly from the people who dig the stones. We personally visit mines several times a year on a regular basis. In the mines where our crystals are found, we guarantee there is no child labor and we take care to protect the employees. We have documented this in a film that is regularly shown in the museum. The miners receive a fair price for their crystals.
