Description: The very rare flower-shaped hexagonal calcite in the center of the amethyst is covered with goethite and amethyst crystals, in several generations. The calcite sits at the end of an amethyst stalactite and protrudes widely. Between the parent rock and the amethyst crystals is a thin layer of rock crystal. The amethyst sits in a metal stand that is included. Repairs: none. What may look like concrete is the original mother rock called basalt.
